STEP 2

Face-to-face initial assessment.

Understand parents and school ultimate goals.

Scheduled sessions hours and times.

STEP 4

Evaluation report & plan development

Explain the assessment results.

BCBA develops intervention plans to reduce challenging behaviours.

Design skills acquisition programmes and teach appropriate replacement behaviours.

Discuss IEP and Behavioural management plan with Parents. 

STEP 3

Conduct standard  skill competency assessment.

STEP 5

Intensive training

  • 1:1 sessions conducted by senior or ABA therapist

  • Provide sessions based on each child’s Individualised Education Plan (IEP)

  • Implement the Behaviour Management Plan.

  • Develop and apply appropriate prompting strategies

STEP 6

One-on-one parent training

Parenting Training

  • BCBA provides live demonstrations for caregivers and practises techniques together with the child

  • Option to include additional sessions on ABA theory

STEP 7

Monitoring progress

  • Monitor the effectiveness of:

    • Child's learning progress

    • ABA therapist performance

    • Caregiver's learning progress

    • Provide improvement suggestions

STEP 5+6+7:

Intensive training, one-on-one parent training, and progress monitoring will be executed simultaneously during the same period.

STEP 8

Continued support

Continues support

  • Progress at the child’s own pace

  • Advance to the next learning stage 

  • Gradually increase the level of difficulty

  • as soon as progress is observed, not delayed until the parents’ meeting

STEP 9

Finish
